I saw some clothing size organizers on Pinterest and fell in love with the idea for three reasons. 

 #1. It's cute! 

#2. It keep things organized.

#3. So that my husband wouldn't complain about finding an outfit for our daughter. (Sometimes I keep clothes that are slightly too small in her closet or I will see a good deal and buy her clothes way in advance, making the sizing a joke to find!)

My only problem was I couldn't find a tutorial anywhere. So I made my own and here is how!

What you need:

Scrapbook paper

Hot glue

Scissors

Hanger  

First cut your paper in 5in x 12in.

Then take the paper and fold it back.

Then fold it the opposite way; folding it as a fan.

Do this to the whole paper.

Pinch it in half and hot glue the center.

Take the top half and glue the sides together.

Place hot glue on the end of the paper.

And glue it to the top of the hanger.

Then create your sizing label.

Glue the size to the other paper.

Then make as may sizes as you need!

And you are done!

Christmas is approaching fast! 

If your like me you have already started planning out the perfect Christmas outfit for your little one! With so many parties and get togethers this time of year you will always have plenty of chances to wear it! 

Here is a darling DIY Christmas Shirt that everyone will love! And the best part is you can make it in less than 10 minutes!!

Here is what you will need:

Green ribbon (can be patterned)

Red or Pink Ribbon (can be patterened)

Fabric glue

Fishing Wire

Scissors

T shirt

First start by cutting 15 3 inch strips.

Then take your fabric glue and glue the end of the wrong sides together.

Do this with all 15 strips.

Then you will start on the bottom layer of the tree. The bottom layer is made up of 5 strips. You may want to use a ruler to make sure that everything is even. Then glue the tops of the ribbon to the shirt with your fabric glue. 

Start the next row by placing half of the ribbon over the previous row so that they over lap. Each row start in a little more and use one less strip.

This will make the tree.

 Next start on the tree topper/bow. This is bow tutorial is also on our blog under "The Perfect Bow" if you need more detailed instructions. Take the center of the bow and fold over each side of the ribbon.

Pinch the middle and wrap it with fishing wire.

Take another piece of ribbon and tie a basic knot. Fold that knot over the center of your bow.

Pinch the back and wrap in fishing wire.

Glue the bow to the top of the tree and you are done!

We love how easy it is but yet it is so cute and different!

 Turkey Headband Tutorial

What you will need:

Glue gun

Scissors

Brown 5/8 ribbon (the ribbon can be patterned or plain)

Yellow 5/8 ribbon

Orange 5/8 ribbon

Wiggle Eyes

 

First cut a strip of brown about 2 inches.

Put a drop of glue at the end of the wrong side and fold together.

Place that to the side.

Next you will cut three more brown strips. A 4 inch, 4 1/2 inch and a 5 inch. 

Place glue on the right side of the ribbon and fold over, creating a "loop" look. Do this with all 3 cut ribbons

Place the first folded ribbon inside the smallest "loop" ribbon and glue.

Do this with all three ribbons, gluing each one into place. 

This will be the backside so it doesn't have to be pretty.

Once the body is finished you can not start on the head.

Cut another 3 inch brown strip and make it into a "loop" again.

 This is the head.

Attach the head to the top of the body.

Then you need to create the feathers. You will make the "loop" again with the feathers but this time you will create a longer look with it. Cut the ribbon 5 1/2 inches.

Create 3 orange, 2 brown and 2 yellow. 

Attach the feathers to the feather to the back of the body starting with the top middle orange one and working your way down. 

Use your order ribbon to cut a small triangle, which will act as the beak. 

Then glue and the eyes. 

You can leave the turkey as is or add on a bow to make it a girly turkey!

Cut a strip of yellow ribbon. Hold it in the middle and cross over each side.

Pinch it in the middle then wrap it in fishing wire, creating a bow.

Glue it to a headband/clip and you are done!

Since the headband makes such a bold statement you can pair it with a more simple outfit in any of the fall colors.

For this weeks Tutorial Tuesday I am going to mix it up a bit. 

I know all of my tutorials are for kids and babies but I decided to do a fun Halloween craft today! You can also turn them into any other holiday jars by adding different ribbon and gumballs for whatever season!

What you will need:

3 Candle Sticks, preferably different sized

3 Jars, preferably different sized

3 jar bases

3 handle nobs 

Gumballs

Ribbon

Hot Glue

Scissors

First paint everything your desired color. I did mine all black.

Next, take a look over at your child who also wanted to paint so you set up his own little paint station to keep him busy and he is now covered in paint and you have just started.. GRRRRREAT!

Back to the project, start hot gluing the pieces together.

Glue the jar base to the candle stick, so the jar is a little more sturdy when placed on top.

Then add on another jar base to the top, you can also skip this and just paint the lid black.

Add on the nob to the top center of the jar lid.

Decorate your candle sticks with the ribbon.

Place your gumballs inside and you are done! So easy and so cute! 

Side note: I did not glue the jars to the candle sticks and it ended up tipping over (from one of my kids trying to get out a gumball.) So I recommend gluing the jar to the candle stick!
